Some questions for Santa

Every now and then Santa suddenly turns a little pensive. Deep in thought, he strokes his beard or stirs his mug of cocoa. What’s he thinking of, I wonder? Maybe the letter from Maria in Barcelona:

"Dear Santa, I’ve been ever so good and I’d like to know whether Rudolph’s nose really is red. And if it is, is it because he likes drinking tomato juice? My Mummy says he does. And that all his friends MUST drink up their tomato juice. What do you say about that?"

Maria’s questions are just a few of the thousands Santa gets asked each year. People ask him everything imaginable, and unimaginable. Sometimes the questions are very difficult to answer, sometimes really amusing. But all terribly important of course.

Santa here reveals the answers to a few of the most popular questions. The list is updated from time to time.

Does Rudolph really like tomato juice?

Rudolph really does like tomato juice, by the way. As I hope most children do. He loves his food, particularly Norwegian salads (with lots of lichen in them), mushrooms from Peru (not toadstools, though), Japanese noodles (especially Sapporo-raamen), French apples, Belgian omelettes (Karmeliet / Rudolph’s Special) and of course Finnish rye bread.
